I'm So Boring!

Haven't really had anything noteworthy to blog about other than random rants that I kind of gave up on ranting about.
Here are a few bullet points of the past few weeks:
- I hate the Kresge mailroom. Not just because of a giant mishap with a phone that was overnighted to me, but because of their incompetence in general. When an envelope says "Do not bend" you probably should not bend it. Add to that, the mailroom boss, let's call her Kia Parks Bitch, felt the need to address me about my incredible moment of hatred towards the mailroom. I'm Facebook friends with two of the girls who work in there, and I was very unhappy with the phone incident (broken phone, broken charger) so naturally, I vented on Facebook. One of the girls, probably the Jesus loving, trailer park living one, copied&pasted and emailed it to Kia Parks Bitch, like a little baby. I was in the Kresge advising office using their phone, trying to see if I could get a new phone, she told that I was disrespectful and hurtful because of the status I posted. The girls in the mailroom work very hard and they hardly get paid anything for it. And I hurt her feelings. Cry, cry, cry. The girls in the mailroom work very hard, my ass. This isn't even hard work. What is so difficult about sorting mail and sticking it in slots? What is so difficult about writing people's names on their packages, filling in package slips, then filling in a binder with package slip info? What is so difficult about not bending an envelope when it says "Do not bend"? Oh wait... NOTHING. And my roommate tells me they get paid $10 to be incompetent 'cause he applied for a job with the mailroom. Cry to me again?
- I have a new phone! LG EnV Touch. It's pretty cool. Still trying to get used to it.
- I am a dancing MACHINE! And it's great. The last three parties I've been to have been dance parties and they have all rocked my socks off. Also apparently my booty shaking, nonexistent Bhangra skills are to be envied by all. They also effectively clear a dance floor. EXCELLENT.
- I am a slacker. I hate school.

I think that's it.

I'm So Awkward

My friends and I were leaving our intramural game today, and we managed to catch a bus from the gym to 9/10 for food. The bus was unnaturally stuffy, and at a stop, some guy got on the bus and commented on how unnaturally stuffy and hot it was. Before I knew it, the words "You should take off all your clothes" flew out of my mouth. You know, in reference to that Nelly song, "Hot in Herrrrre" (I always forget how many "R"'s there are). The dude then proceeded to talk to me/everyone around us about how he actually enjoys taking his clothes off and how he is frequently taking his clothes off. Needless to say, it was a very awkward bus ride, and my friends could not stop cracking up. Thankfully, our stop was next and I frantically clawed my way through the mob to exit the bus... as he called out after me to enjoy taking my clothes off or something. Never remarking to strangers again.

Today

Today has been awesome! Volleyball all day!
I woke up for my volleyball class at noon. It was super fun. Then my friend convinced me to go to the UCSC men's open gym. I was very apprehensive, anxious, and partially terrified. Then I was even more so when I got there because there were lots of guys! And they were all about a foot taller than me! Or more! But I held my own and kicked ass. I was digging stuff left and right. I wanted to go to the Twin Lakes open gym but nobody else wanted to go. Oh well, I am very excited and proud. I can play with the boys! Hahaha. That's what she said.

Just a Thought

Lately, I've been having a lot of these moments where I've been evaluating myself and the paths I've chosen (clicheee!). It's mostly been brought on by a certain string of events induced by my sister. It's no secret that we are two very different people. And it is definitely no secret that we don't get along. However, I'm usually pretty tolerant of the stupid shit she pulls (ie. stealing underwear, $90 necklaces, makeup, condoms, money, etc. from me or being a skank). This time though, she's taken things entirely too far.

We got into a huge argument because she flipped out over me taking the car to go to the gym with my little brother, even though I'd already confirmed with my mom that I could use it that day. (People with their own cars, be thankful you don't have to share one with someone crazy!) Then she started screaming about how I always ruin everything, how she hates living here with me, and how life is so much better when I'm not around, etc. And then she started shrieking about how she hopes that I get pregnant and die. I collected all of my gym belongings and then left with my brother to the echoes of her screams.

I came home to find the following:
1. my birth control missing from my purse where I'd left it after I took my pill at about 12:45PM. (And no, in case you're wondering, she's not stealing so she can have some of her own. She went to Planned Parenthood and got her own. She took it out of spite.) And yes, it is still missing.
2. my nearly empty Earth Science moisturizer filled with some white crap (possibly John Frieda Brilliant Brunette conditioner)
3. Nair Hair Removal Cream mixed with my Catwalk conditioner.

First of all, 1 & 3 are so LOW. Why would you do that to someone, not to someone who is your FAMILY. And obviously they are all incredibly immature and childish. Rant, rant, rant, I could go on for hours, but that's the gist of my ranting.

Secondly, you really have to evaluate the type of person you're becoming if you are willing to go so far as to take someone's birth control in the hopes that the person gets pregnant. Not to mention that someone is your sister. Is that who you really want to be? Someone so selfish and childish that you put others at risk for something because you can't deal with whatever issues and insecurities you have in a constructive manner? Do you really want to have to grasp at something so petty, ridiculous, and incredibly immature so you feel a little bit better about yourself? Do you really want to be someone who goes completely out of his/her way to cause someone misery just because you didn't get something that you wanted?

There are a lot of terrible and evil things I could do to everyone who has wronged me in some way. I could take my sister's birth control. I could let "accidentally" let it slip out of her purse and in front of my parents. I could urinate in her facewash. I could rub my shitstained butthole all over her pillow. The list goes on. The key word in there is could. I could do all of those things, but I don't. I would like to think that I am a better person that. I would like to think that I don't need to stoop to childish levels to make up for hurt feelings and annoyance. I would like to say that I am above letting petty arguments and nuances ago, because they're just that: petty. I may say a lot of snide and snarky stuff on the side for some LOLz or because I'm furious, but that's an entirely different level than physically messing with someone and trying to make his or her life miserable. So on that note, I do think that I am turning out morally okay despite living with complete bitches for all my life. Or borrowing a line from "27 Dresses", my moral compass does point due north... mostly.

Tryouts & Other Volleyball Shenanigans

Lately, volleyball tryouts have been haunting my dreams. Seriously. I dream that I make the team. I dream that I don't make the team. I dream that Selene hates me. I dream that she loves me. Tryouts start next Wednesday at either 8 or 9 in the morning with double days... At this point, I'm not sure if I'm trying out, but I'm leaning towards a no. Assuming that I miraculously make it, I'm not sure if I want to play that competitively and I'm not sure if I want to have volleyball suck that much time out of my life (again). I'm okay with just playing on the beach, open gyms, and intramurals with my friends. I don't know. Decisions, decisions.
Today was pretty rad. I went to the AVP Crocs tour in San Francisco. Not gonna lie, I'm pretty jealous that all these people get to play volleyball as a career. I wish I had a fraction of the skill to do that. Anyway, I summed most of it up with Facebook photos, so I'll keep it brief here.
- I saw Phil Dalhausser outside the gate, but I wasn't sure if it was him and I didn't want to look stupid so I didn't ask for a picture. Normal people clothes can be awfully deceiving.
- I creeped on Phil Dalhausser & Todd Rogers warming up in the players area. It was awesome!
- I met Kerri Walsh after getting rejected by her before her game.
- I got a free cooler from KFC, a free backpack from Malibu Rum, and a free totebag from Barefoot wine.
- I got a flipflop tan.
- I am partially in love with Sean Scott.
- Oh and the matches I saw: Brazao/Prosser vs. Carlucci/Witt, Dalhausser/Rogers vs. Acosta/Baxter, DeNecochea/Dodd vs. Burdine/Mason, Walsh/Wacholder vs. Stonebarger/Lowe, and Scott/Hyden vs. Placek/Moran.
It was super fun. I'm going again next year and I'm going to try and volunteer!

One of My Dreams

Some day in a few years, you're going to see some Balenciaga/Chanel-toting bitch in Chanel sunglasses speeding/driving a red (hopefully) E30 convertible up & down Highway 1 while blasting some death metal (probably Bloodbath) aimlessly all day long. That's going to be me. And it's going to happen. Just you wait and see.

This is Weird

I can never remember exactly how old I am. It usually takes me several tries to get it right. When people ask me, it usually comes out of my mouth like this: "I'm sixtee--wait, seven--nope, eighteen... OH JUST KIDDING. I'm nineteen!!!". I don't feel like I'm 19. I don't even feel like I was 18, or even 17. Maybe 16. But I guess, I will always think of myself as that awkward, 14 year-old freshman with retarded bangs that stuck straight up when I played volleyball, no matter how old I get. Or at least until I'm married.
Also, when I turn 21, it will be really interesting to see how many times I get carded for looking like I'm 12. I can't wait. Or how many people won't believe that I'm actually legal legal.

On another note, the Transformers soundtrack is amazing. It gives me butterflies and I want to stand up and wave my arms like a really passionate conductor. You know, epic swells and little tiptoe portions and stuff. I miss band?

Okay, back to procrastinating.

Day From Hell

That is what today was supposed to be, except it wasn't too bad. I was mildly prepared for my midterms. My goal is simply to pass these classes now, and by passing, I mean some sort of B. I had chem first, and then calculus. After calc, my friends and I who are also in these classes went to the beach! We played some fun beach volleyball for two hours. Then I had to go back to meet my mom and my brother for dinner. My friends were going to drop me off at the restaurant, but then asked me if they could eat with us! I called my mom and asked and she said yes. Anyway, my friends like my mom, and my mom likes my friends. Then I went back to my apartment and showered. I took some NyQuil to knock me out because I am sick and tired and I have work tomorrow that I might call in sick for depending on how sick I feel. Bad sentence, bad sentence, bad sentence. Then I said oh, what the hell, you are done with midterms and you are tired. So I smoked a bowl, and here I am, typing a blog high as fuck. Now I will go to bed. NyQuil + marijuana, WOO!
Also, for those of you who are curious, it is 11:21PM right now. In 39 minutes, it will be my two year anniversary with Brad! Yay!

Lately

I've been struggling through this past week. I've cried a lot. I've spent a lot of time thinking and writing out my emotions. It hasn't been easy, but I think things will work out for the better. I don't know where to go from here, but the only direction is up. I hope the right path is chosen, and that things will go in my favor. I need to hope; I need to believe to get me through the days.
I am so incredibly thankful for the amazing friends that I've made who have been here for me this past week, from coming over and listening to me be a giant mess, hugging me when I'm sobbing uncontrollably, reassuring me that things will work themselves out, to making me smile. Even if it feels like I don't have anything, I have that, and that means so much.
Now, I'm off to study for my chemistry and calculus midterms tomorrow.

The Stone Ages

That's what I was in today! Or at least that's what it felt like. Last night I was on the internet & on my cellphone when they both cut out around 2:30AM. I thought my phone was being retarded and my internet was being retarded because they have both had retard moments. I flipped out and ran around my residential college looking for reception, and I also ran around my apartment trying different ethernet hubs looking for internet. Finally, I went to bed.
I woke up this morning and I heard from my apartmentmate that the storm took out some towers or something that took all internet, all cellphone service, and all landlines down from Santa Cruz to the Bay. So I went about my day sans cellphone and sans internet. It was somewhat difficult. It's incredible how dependent we have all become on these two things. Seriously.
Anyway, cellphone reception was restored around 3:30PM today, but it was sketchy until about 9PM. I got internet back around 11:30PM today, but I could only access Facebook and MySpace. Around 1AM, I was able to fully access all internet, like Gmail, and Blogspot!
I San Jose Mercury News-ed the incident and they think that someone cut through the cables that transmit these signals. I don't really know how to explain it, but you can read about it here. Also, here is a cool story about something that happened in Santa Cruz during the mini-Stone Age.
It was kind of cool not checking my email or my cellphone constantly throughout the day. It was nice not having my phone go off all the time. It was nice being able to hang out with people and do stuff without someone having their cellphone out. I dunno.
I also realized that I'm hardly ever at my laptop anymore, unless it's at night or in between class. I've gotten really busy lately, which is nice. Lots and lots of volleyball (Tuesday, 12-1:10, then open gym/IM from 8-10, and Thursday, 12-1:10 and open gym 7-10, sometimes Saturday or Sunday, at the beach) is just the way I like it. Plus three classes, one seventy minute discussion, and two one hour & forty five minute discussions, and a three hour lab leaves not much time for sitting on the computer. COOL.
Also, I really need a dance party. Everytime I drive around with my friend, Dave, and some of my other friends, we always blast retarded music and it's fun, and we dance around in the back seat. I need DANCE. Haha.
Today was kind of cool. Dave and Ron picked Tim and I up from campus today for open gym at Twin Lakes Church and we were blasting random rap, hip-hop and techno and we were all laughing and going dumb and being idiots. It was fun! Then after open gym, we went to Jack in the Box, still blasting random music. Then we went to Marianne's, which is down the street from Jack in the Box, playing that one song that goes "I'm blue, da ba dee da ba di..." yeah and being retarded. LOVE it. And I miss it.
And that's pretty much it.

Beautiful Days!

That's what yesterday and today has been! It's been nice, sunny and fairly warm, but not too warm. I still wear a jacket outside, but after enough running around, I start sweating. (I started typing this blog yesterday, but I never got around to finishing it so it will be a combination of today & yesterday.)

YESTERDAY
I had class all day, but in between class it was nice walking around and doing my skippy step around campus. Also, Morgan and I made two epic trips to the bookstore to get scantrons and matching green UCSC sweatshirts (on sale for $22.99!). It was cool.
Then I went to the volleyball game after and skipped my last class. That was fun, but we lost so that was not fun. The guys definitely had an off day, which really sucked. This was the game that counted the most for them. Also the other team was really scrappy/solid and were picking EVERYTHING up. So yeah.
Then Tim and I went to go eat (OMG, I eat so much. Seriously like 4 meals a day! It's ridiculous! 7 day meal plan FTW) and most of the freshmen on the team, Thomas Davidson (middle), Darren Tsai (DS/libero), Bryce Dalheimer (outside), & Austin Kress (outside?), and the junior outside hitter, Brad Sullivan, came and ate with us because they know Tim. I ended up talking to Thomas, his girlfriend, and his friend who I sort of know from Kresge for a bit. I HOPE WE CAN BECOME FRIENDS. Also quoting Ms. Tyson I am "not a creeper, not a creeper". Really.

TODAY
I woke up & talked to Brad before going to volleyball. AND THEN I PROCEEDED TO KICK MAJOR ASS AT VOLLEYBALL. I also talked to the coach about sending me info about tryouts and getting me into the class next quarter to (hopefully? maybe?) do drills with the team. She seemed fairly enthused by the fact that I was interested in trying out. I think she likes me??? I hope so! Anyway, volleyball went SO WELL today. I'm so sad that it's the last class of the quarter, BUT I scheduled my classes around volleyball next quarter so I will be doing this class and playing (and hopefully drilling with the team. Omgomgomg, that would be my dream come true).
Then after that I ate with all my volleyball friends, Chris, Tim, Dave, Cat, and Lauren, and it was great fun! We all made fun of Tim for sucking at volleyball. Many LOLZ ensued. Then I went to go get my mail! I HAD MAIL! :) I got TWO sample pads (one Poise & one Always), and a coupon for the Always. I got a Cosmopolitan in the mail. I got two letters from my bff, Josh, down at UCSB. So awesome. After that, I went back to my apartment, showered and headed to Longs to pick up some things and now I am here! :)
Also a sidestory about my great love of mail. I needed to mail two letters today (one for you, Ms. Tyson! Keep a lookout!) so I went to Longs to do that and to pick up some stuff. As I was getting there, I saw the mailman leaving, so I started sprinting, and then I almost twisted my ankle!!! I kept running through the slight, annoying pain and as he started the car, I banged on the window and was able to drop off my letters. That, my friends, is how devoted I am to mail.
Okay, so back to my day... so now I am about to power through my precalc homework, and then I am going to go eat. And then I am going to play volleyball for three hours with my volleyball friends at some open gym by Cabrillo College or something. I am stoked.
I love volleyball. A lot.
OH, and last night, I had a dream about trying out for the team and making it. And that was my SECOND dream about playing for the team. So yes, it really is my dream. And I'm going to make my dream come true. I am determined. Very determined. I love volleyball! Yay!

This has been a spastic Paulina post.

Single

As you all know, I currently live in a triple. For the past few weeks, I've been talking to the housing coordinator, Joao, at my residential college, and I've managed to finangle myself into a single!!! A SINGLE!!! AKA I AM NO LONGER GOING TO LIVE/SLEEP WITH ANYONE EXCEPT THOSE WHO I DEEM ACCEPTABLE TO LIVE WITH ME!!! I'm not sure where yet, but he has some options that he will email me. But he says that he has a single for me. I AM SO EXCITED!!!
It has been a long, hard journey. Haha. The first time I went to see Joao two weeks ago, he was out sick. I came back the next day and he took my name down for a single or a double and said he'd email me. (I just wanted to get out of here.) I waited for a day and he didn't email me, so I emailed him. He said he'd email me some apartments to look at, but never got around to doing that since the housing office got really busy. And then we scheduled an appointment last week. He gave me one small double to look at over in Kresge East.
I went and checked it out and it was TINY! Tinier than my small triple even! There were two beds on the floor next to each other and one foot of walking space between the wall and the bed from one side of the room to the other. There were two dressers crammed on top of each other in the closet space, and one, not two, desk crammed in a corner. The girl there told me they couldn't find space for the second desk. Also, there was colored paper and pictures of mushrooms and stuff taped all over the windows. AKA they probably do drugs and stuff there.
I went back to the housing office and told them that I was not going to take that room because it was SO SMALL. Then Joao contemplated for a little bit, and we scheduled another appointment for Monday. He told me that he could probably get me a single. I thanked him and as I was leaving, he asked me if I had a judicial record. I'm a good kid, so of course not, and I told him that. Then he told me again that he could probably get me a single.
On Monday, I came in to see him, but he was out sick again. I sent him an email asking him if we could reschedule. Then I got an email from the housing office yesterday apologizing for the inconvenience of him being out sick, and that I should call and make another appointment. So I did for today at 10:15.
I was going over to the housing office when I saw him standing outside on the phone. I was going to go inside and wait, and he came up to me. He asked me if I was there to see him, and I said yes. He said that he'd email me so we can set up another appointment, but he has a single for me and several options for that.
I AM SO EXCITED. I AM GETTING A SINGLE.

Also, volleyball class yesterday went really well. I got TWO pancakes. Not one, but TWO. I had some badass digs. I had some nice hits and some aces.
Intramural volleyball, on the other hand, did not go so well. I touched the ball approximately thrice, other than serving. Got set ZERO times. And had zero digs. Awesome. Not.

Oh, and I am in dire need of a vacation. :(

ALSO, I got the highest grade on my precalc midterm again! 87.01! Not as high as it was last time, but it's still the highest grade! It was tied with someone though, but that person did about the same on the last midterm. I still have the highest grade in the class! YAY!

Thank God it's Almost Friday!

This week has been fairly strange. I haven't been able to keep track of what day it is, and all days seem to blend together/feel the same.
Monday, I had a midterm in chem and I was very sure I kicked ass! Yesterday, I got my midterm back, and I did kick ass. 97! I'm so mad though, I'm pretty sure I could have gotten a 100, but oh well. My Asian side is coming out.
Tuesday, volleyball class was canceled because Selene (women's volleyball coach) was sick. I was going to just go back to my apartment and study/do homework, but then I decided fuck it and I went with some people to go play on the sand courts down at OPERS. The level of play wasn't very high because none of us are used to sand, but it was very fun, and it was sort of a bonding activity. I love this class!
Wednesday, I just had class.
Today, volleyball went really well and it was awesome. My serving was ballin'. My passing was awesome, and my hits were KILLER. Ha ha ha. I've been conditioning and doing a lot of rope/footwork, and I can definitely see it helping. I'm jumping a lot higher and getting on top of the ball. It's awesome. I'm so determined to make the team.

UCSC Women's Volleyball 2009!

Also, today, I got my Asian stationery in the mail. You know those ones from Asia that say nonsensical things and are super cute and stuff. I love it!!! I was inspired by my cousin, Jessica, to get some because she sent me a cute letter in a cute envelope and I didn't want to just send back some ugly binder paper. I found this Etsy store, 3.5 Dollars, that sells this stuff for $3.50! What a steal! So I ordered two little cute sets. Yay! I love mail.

This is one of the things I ordered!

I was fairly bored one night and I researched how the post office works. It is such an amazing phenomenon! They have these machines that read handwriting and see the zipcode and where to send it to and stuff. And if you have the address wrong, the machines will correct it for you to what it thinks the location is! And they have dead mail centers where letters go that they can't read and they get scrutinized by people to be sent off. And then if they can't figure it out, the mail either gets destroyed or auctioned off! It's so cool! Wikipedia it!
Despite the semi-blandness of this week, last weekend, Brad and I decided that he is going to come down for Valentine's Day/President's Day weekend, and I am SO SUPERDUPERLY EXCITED. The majority of my apartment is going to be in Tahoe Friday-Monday (I think), so we'll have this room to ourselves and I won't have to deal with the awkwardness of sexiling them the entire weekend. I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do about the Thursday and Tuesday that they will be here, but I hope they understand. If not, um, it sucks to be them, I guess. They're not usually in here anyway since they do all their work in the living room, so maybe if the door is closed and stuff they will get the idea. That was probably too much info, but it is a bit of a dilemma and I'm not sure about what to do. I mean, from what I've gathered from various other people about significant others visiting, the general consensus is that the roommates go elsewhere for that duration to courteously give couples time to themselves, so I hope they do the same! I'm not quite sure about what we're going to be doing, but it will definitely involve going to the beach and seeing "Friday the 13th" and exploring downtown/campus and drinking and possibly smoking and whatnot. It should be fun. I'm excited!
Also, I googled sexiled images and this is what I got:

LOL, at this one.

Is this what my roommates will look like?

The Best Part

about this week so far is that I got the schedule I wanted. And volleyball. I love volleyball.

I've also officially decided that I will be trying out for next year's team.

Golly Gee

Tonight, I went to the bathroom to urinate, brush my teeth and wash my face, and change my clothes, etc. I'm happily doing whatever I was doing when I heard stomping and screaming and banging on a door. It was not the bathroom door, so I ignored it.
I finished whatever I was doing, and went back to my room where a bitchy princess was sitting at her desk rolling something or whatever. She starts going off on me about how I locked the door again, blah blah blah. I told her I didn't lock the door because I went to the bathroom. There is no need to lock the door to this room when I am conscious and in the building. Not to mention I did not even have my keys on me, so I couldn't have locked the door.
The locking mechanism will not allow me to lock the door, exit the room, and close the door. I  need to have my keys on me to lock the door from the outside, OR I would have had to close the door with me inside, lock it, leave through the side door, and enter through the front door of the apartment with all of my things. She was out in the living room, and I did not come in that way.
Therefore, I could not have locked the door.
Also, I'm not an idiot. Why would I lock myself out?

The moral of the story is it is really annoying getting bitched at every day.

People are really fucking irrational, and I really want to get out of here.
But the only reason stopping me is somewhat attributed to money and somewhat selfish. This small triple that is bigger than most small triples is easy on my parents' wallets. Also, I have a lot of space in this triple. Bear brought a bunch of Sterilite drawers that she keeps all her things in freeing up another two drawers for me in addition to my four. I have an entire hanging closet space to myself, and the shelf above that for miscellaneous knickknacks like my fan that keeps the room cool during the summer/fall that everyone loves to use, and my suitcase. I also have a bookcase next to my bed that I keep random things on just to piss Princess off because I know she so desperately wants that space despite having a bookshelf of her own on top of her desk. In addition, I have all the space under my bed where I can toss every single item I own, in whichever manner I see fit, so that people don't trip over my belongings coming in and out of the room. That's why I'm still here.

What the Fuck (and Volleyball Shenanigans)

Last night my apartmentmates threw a party with a bunch of random people, most of the people who were there were Anya's people (sister, fuckbuddy, fuckbuddy's sister/Anya's sister's friend, fuckbuddy & fuckbuddy's sister's exchange student, friend, etc.), and by the time I got back with two of my friends, our RA had broken up the party because of excessive noise. My friends left, and I was finishing up some things in my room and starting to wind down to get ready for bed, when one of them called me and said he was coming over. He came over with this guy I knew and hung out with me and Anya's people for a bit until I got really tired around 1AM and I couldn't stay up anymore. (I've been going to bed around eleven, give or take a few, every night for the past week.) I went to bed and tried to sleep with annoying earbuds on through the random bursts of noise. It didn't work too well because I was simply drifting in and out of sleep until someone came in at 2 in the morning. I poked my head over the top of my bed and saw a head of hair and heard a man voice that I didn't recognize, talking to someone (or some people in Elisa's bed).
It didn't make any sense to me because Eli had just gotten a single room so it wouldn't make any sense as to why they would sleep in a triple when they could have a room to themselves and do whatever they wanted, like make fuck and snore and such. I was fairly angry about not being able to sleep and being up past my bedtime so I climbed out of my bed and sat down at my computer contemplating about what I was gonna do. I poked my head into Elisa's bed (she put up a sheet on the side of her bed), and I thought I saw Eli sleeping there, so I got confused again. I looked a second time and I saw that it in fact was not Eli, nor was it Lisa, but it was just some random guy that I didn't know.
Naturally, I freaked out because what the HELL is this DUDE doing in a room that is supposed to be filled with three girls? Why is there some guy sleeping three feet or so away from me, and why is in here in the first place? Why did someone not tell me that they were going to put some random male in MY ROOM so that way I could say hell no, I don't know this fucker? I'm not a fucking hippie; I don't believe in the goodness of mankind. I don't trust people I don't know, and sometimes I can't even trust people that I do know. There is no way in hell that I'm okay with some guy I've never seen before until tonight sleeping in my fucking room. Not to mention I'm a GIRL, and a little Asian one, and up till some OTHER GUY came into my room and woke me up, I was SLEEPING. Does anyone see my dilemma? I don't understand how it's perfectly acceptable to leave a random guy in a room with a girl (possibly two) who doesn't know. I don't care how many people say this guy is okay, or whatever. I don't fucking know him, and I don't want him in here.
So I stormed out of my room and confronted Anya + fuckbuddy about Some Dude sleeping in there and they weren't happy but they got him out. And then I couldn't find my trash can until this morning by Lisa's bed, which is a different story, but I really hate people moving my stuff.
I texted Lisa about Some Dude sleeping in her bed, and then she came in about ten minutes later to grab my air freshener to spray the hallway with. I asked her if she knew that there was Some Dude sleeping in her bed, and she told me that it was chill and not to worry about it, which completely BEWILDERED ME. She put him there, or let someone put him there and didn't bother to check with me to see if I was OKAY WITH IT? At that point though, I think she thought he was still in there. And then she left to go to Eli's.
This morning, I came home from working out and was getting all my stuff together to go shower when Lisa confronted me about kicking Some Dude out of our room, and basically tried to guilt trip me into feeling bad about kicking him out. Also, she couldn't understand why I felt uncomfortable about the entire situation. But everyone I've talked to says that I'm perfectly sane.
So tell me, am I sane, or am I some bitch who kicked some dude out of my room? Because I'm pretty sure my actions were reasonable.

Anyway, on a non-What the Fuck note, I went to the UCSC men's volleyball game yesterday against Grand Canyon with my friends, Ian and Parker, and Parker's friend, Darcy. It was pretty fun. The teams weren't that great, however, SC completely destroyed Grand Canyon. Which means Grand Canyon is really bad. And they are really bad. They couldn't pass a ball, or pass easy floater & topspin serves during serve-receive. I'm pretty sure they shanked half the balls. They missed nearly all their serves. They got blocked repeatedly, and their backrow did not cover their hitters. They even let balls drop in between them! Also, one play, two players (the libero & a ds) just stared at each other while the ball dropped between them, and one of them frantically lollipopped it over into the SC opposite who slammed it down in their faces. Get owned, motherfuckers. But anyway, it was still fun. I want to play more volleyball!!!
